A SLANDER ACTION.
ARISING FROM AIURDER CASE. Electric Telegraph—Press Association. Copyright. Singapore, This Day. Inspector Wyatt has been awarded 300 dollars and costs in a slander case against Mrs Prondlock, who was recently convicted, but subsequently pardoned, for the murder of a mail named Stewart. The cause of the action was a. letter written by Airs Prondboek to a. London newspaper alleging tlie ill-treatment of native witnesses.
