LAND TRANSFER OFFICE.

CHANGES IN STAFF. Certain changes have been carried out in the staff of the Land Transfer and Deeds Registry Office. Mr E. Bamford, Registrar-General of Lands and Deeds and Examiner of Titles for Wellington, retires with three months’ leave of absence from April 1, and will be succeeded by Mr G. J. Bridges, District Land Registrar at Christchurch, whose place will be taken by Mr W. Winks, District Land Registrar at Dunedin. Mr Winks will be succeeded by Mr C. N. Nalder, District JUand Registrar for Southland; Mr Nalder will be succeeded by Mr L. Pauling, District Land Registrar at Napier; Mr Pauling by Mr F. Aspinall, Assistant Land Registrar at Napier, Mr Aspinall by Mr J. A. Fraser, clerk in the Napier office. Mr L. H. Holloway, Assistant Land Registrar and Deputy-Registrar of Deeds at Auckland, has retired from the service under the age-limit, and the following promotions have been made:—Mr G. S. "Withers, Assistant Land Registrar; Mr R. H. Bourke, clerk, to be second Assistant Land Registrar; Mr E. Kebble, clerk, to be Assistant-Deputy Registrar of Deeds. Mr M. J. Kilgour, Assistant Land Registrar of Deeds at Wellington, has retired on pension on account of ill-health. Mr J. Burke, of the Wellington office, succeeds him. Mr Burke, in turn, is succeeded by Mr A. P. Gorman, chief clerk in the Land Transfer Office at Dunedin.
