Panton, a i»ndon solicitor and amateur actor. The case is regarded as one of fantastic suicide. Tin- Chronicle states that Panton "as the grandson of Mr A. P. i*rith, a. Royal Academician, and hail recently been suffering from a bail attack of influenza.
