All Races to be run under the New Zealand Rules of Racing. 2. Riders in Races Nos I. 3 and 7 to he eligible for gentlemen rider’s certificate. 3. Riders in Nos 4 and 0 to be financial members of the Woodlands Hunt Club. 4. A financial member of the Woodlands Hunt Club is a duly elected member of the said club, whose subscription for the present season shall have l«s>n paid on or before July 20th, 1907. 5. A qualified hunter means a horse that has hunted at least, five times with any recognised pack of hounds during the present season, and a Master's certificate to (hat icffoct must he produced at the scales. 0. The winner of tho Woodlands Hunt, Club Steeplechase to carry a penalty of 101 bin the Kumeroa Steeplechase, and the winner of any flat race to carry a penalty of 51b in the flat races. Penalties not to be cumulat i ve. 7. All seratchings must be notified to the Secretary at least half an hour before tlm advertised time of starting each race. H. All entries must be accompanied with the necessary fees, together with age, pedigree and colour of horse, also colours of the rider. 9. Entries by telegram must be confirmed in writing at tlm earliest opport unity. BOOK MAKERS. Bookmakers will be licensed to bet at, the meeting on miying a fee of C 5 ss, and de|xisiting £SO each (in cash) with the Secretary as a guarantee of stability. Such payment, and deposit to be made before 11.30 a.m. on day of laces. The Stewards reserve t lit' right to retain any deposit for at, least, one hour after the last race.
