Dividend, £2 13s. ‘ Winter Oats, 1 mile.—Seaman 1, Kuku 2, Mataari 3. Won by four lengths. Time, lmin 55 l-ssec. Dividends, £3 4s and £2 14s. Final Hurdle Race, 1J mile.—Ben Jonson 1, Merriwai 2, Cavalry 3. Won by four lengths. Dividends, £2 10s and £3 19s. Kia Ora Hack Handicap. 6 furlongs.—Clem 1, Oblivion 2, Aotea 3. Won by a. length. Time, lmin 24 2-5 sec. Dividends, £3 19s and £2 2s. The sum of £18,334 was passed through tlie totalisator, making £52,030 for tlie meeting, against £26,876 last year (two days). The winning double on the July Steeplechase and Winter Oats paid £l9. After the Onslow Handicap R. Milne (rider of St. Claimer) lodged a complaint against A. H. Cairns (rider of Kaiuku) for alleged interference. The stewards decided to suspend Cairns during their pleasure.
