THE SECRET. An aged abbot in France was asked bythis medical attendant “how lie had contrived to live so long, and preserve ! the enjoyment of such excellent Jiealth.” He replied, “I have eaten but once a day, and slept at regular hours.” There is no denying the fact that in the present century our mode of life is too irregular. The number of meals taken and the quantity and variety of food and liquid consumed are not conducive to good health. If we over tax our nature, we pay the penalty in the shape of Dyspepsia, Biliousness, Side Headache, Torpid Diver, Constipation, Piles and kinured ailments. It is well to know, however, that the 20th century has porduced an antidote for these troubles, the famous Impey’s May Apple. Eight to ten drops of Impey’s May Apple after each meal will keep •>-pu ir. perfect health. If you experience difficulty in obtaining Impey’s May Apple in the locality where you live, send 2s Od in stamps to Messrs Sharland and Co., iAd., Wellington, and Impey’s May Apple will be sent to you by return- post. Don't make the mistake of grumbling about your competitor. Make a noise like a winner i And advertise in the Herald.
