ATTEMPTED MURDER.

PER UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION. Christchurch, Alay 28. -V boy named Stanley Austin Joseph Suckling was charged at the Police Court to-day, with attempting to murder a companion named Leslie Pritchard and was remanded lot eight days. It is alleged that accused had invited Pritchard to accompany him on a cow-shooting expedition, and on the latter refusing Suckling shot at him with a pea-rifle. The bullet entered Pritchard’s left side .hut serious injury is not anticipated.
