TAYLOR CARRINGTON DRAMATIC COMPANY.

On Monday evening, 7th inst., the above dramatic company will appear at Pahiatua The piece chosen for this occasion is Boucicault’s drama, “ The Octoroon,” whieh is considered by most theatrical critics to be superior even to his “ Shaughraun ” or “ Arrah -na - Pogae,” and the Taylor-Carrington management has spared neither trouble nor expense to make the production worthy of the play. Beautiful new scenery, specially painted for the piece, has been imported from Australia, and local theatre-goers may r9ly on the performance being well up to the high standard of the Taylor-Carrington Company’s previous performances here.
