The Postm33ter General has intimated bis intention of abandoning the proposed cash on-delivery system in connection with parcels sant by post to tbe Motherland, but will try to establish a system of helping an exchange of commodities between the Motherland and tbe colonies in order to prevent tbe loss of some of our trade through greater facilities of postage between the colonies and foreign countries.
