Wellington, This Day. John Moffat, aged 22, who was committed for trial on the 17th August. i t a charge of theft from a dwcllii g, escaped from Terrace Goal at 9.15 this morning. He scaled tbe waff ~ tueexercise yard aud a,though fired at by the warder continued his ilight, and got clean away.
