SCHOOL AFFAIRS.

TO TIIK Kl'i roll. Sir.—As a parent with three child roll attending the school, I am naturally interested in anything concerning the school. 1 notice that some members of the School Com tuittcc have strong objections to Mr Thomas living at Mangahao. Having some knowledge of school allairs I cannot understand what these' objections can ho. and I would like very much some of the coiiiiiulU'C to state their objections. From an outside point of view I cannot see it matters where the headmaster live's as long as he attends to llis duty. If he falls to do his duty the committee has ample power to compel him to tie* -o. Tit one with no special know bilge of the circumstances it seems as il a section of the committee were simple harrassing the headmaster out of pure eusseduess. —I am. Ac., G.
