A gang of pickpockets travelled by train from Dunedin to Christchurch on Saturday night. Passengers were robbed at Palmerston and Timaru. Fire Inquiries. Auckland, This Day. At the enquiry into the fire at Waihi, the verdict was accidental lire. An enquiry was then begun into the incipient fire at Coster’s chemist shop, about an hour after the first fire.
