While arresting a man Constable Murrow was knocked down by another niaD named Conway, sustaining such injuries that he died shortly after.* Conway was committed for trial for murder. The Liquor Movement in N.S.W. Sydney, September 7. The Legislative Assembly adopted a resolution favoring the introduction of a Local Option Bill after all reference to prohibition was struck out and an amendment added providing for compansation, but without specifying whether monetary or time.
