Profound despondency and indignation prevails throughout Greece over the terms of the peace treaty with Turkey. The King is bitterly disappointed at the severity of the conditions imposed. Premier Delyannis’ organ states that the Chamber of Deputies is not likely to ratify the proposal to assign the revenues, on the ground that the Powers have exceeded the charge entrusted to them by Greece.
