A CURE FOR TUBERCULOSIS.
Discovered by a Gisborne Man.
By Telegraph—Press Association.
Gisbokxe, This Day. A resident of Gisborne. Mr Driller, claims to have discovered an absolute specific for tuberculosis. He says be alighted purely by accident upon a certain drug that he has found, after numerous years of careful experimenting, to be a qnick and effectual cure for consumption. It is of an extremely simple nature and can be administered with safety and leaves no harmful results, destroying all trace of tubercle germs. He ha* laid the matter before the Department, but as the experts apparently pooh-pooh the idea, coming from a non-professional man who will not enlighten them as to tbe nature of tbe drug, nothing has been done. The Gisborne Herald says it feels satisfied Mr Driller's statements are worthy of investigation, and in the interests of humanity he shonld be afforded an opportunity of putting the assertion to a practical test.
