BY TKLKURAWI.—I'KKHS ASSOCIATION. Napier, This Day. Artiiur Hatton, aged forty, a butcher of Hastings, was thrown from his cart through the horse holtmg. The wheel passed over him. killing him instantly. E. N. Laws, aged eighteen, an engine cleaner, who had been transferred to Wanganui, last evening stepped on a moving engine, when his foot slipped anil lie fell with his right leg under the wheels. The leg was amputated at the hospital.
