TIIE HORSE MARKET. Messrs Abraham and Williams report :--Our sale on Saturday compri. t il a line of about 80 broken and -iiliriiki-n backs and lighter harness horses on account of Mr J. IS. Ali ISitiald, and Mine 80 others of very miduim quality. The attendance was good and the bidding spirited, more especially for any mutual showing a bit of weigh’, ri -lilting in a total charaucc of the lot, with the I xciption of three overpriced animals. Great disappointment wu. expressed at the nonappearance of the mi ilium draughts advertised, which it appears were stopped by a heavy flood ill the Otaki river, and will come forward on Suturday, 20th inst. There is a -'nod demand for reliable heavy trap horses.
