MISS WHITE’S SUICIDE.
Her Last Letter. By Telegraph—l’ress Association. Dunedin, This Day. Marion White had a biilliunt academy career and was a Provincial University scholar-hip holder, and gained her M. A. with honors. For onio time she laid been overworked, ■ having to support two maiden sisters. Sin studied chemistry and had plenty of poison in the house. On Saturday she purchased an ounce of prussic acid and took i*. In a letter addle sed to Dr Cohiuhouu she analysed her mental feelings and showed death was premeditated. She stated fate was pur.-uing her, and she felt she mu l die. In unuther letter to a member of the medical profession sin gaye directions as to how her wi dies were to be complied with after death, and conveyed pathetic farewell; to her friends. She was 2n year i of age. It is known that for some years sho had a hard struggle for a hare existence.
