Methodist Church Bazaar.
The Methodist Church bazaar was opened in the Town Hall on Wednesday, and was well attended throughout the afternoon and evening. The members of the Pahiatua Band performed soms very choice selections outside the hall during the evening. The interior of the hall was so arranged as to suit the convenience of visitors and enable them to promenade round the building. On the left was a large stall fairly laden with clothes, toys, etc., under the care of Mrs W. Vile. At the end of the hall stoed a large Christmas tree, covered with toys and colored lights. Mrs Knewstubb had charge of the tree and was very attentive, giving the prize* away with great despatch. A large refreshment booth was located near the large stall, where the visitor could get tea, coffee and temperance drinks in abundance, and delicacies of a more solid nature. The Bazaar was continued yesterday afternoon and evening, and was again well attended.
