Mbloocrnr, September 21. Some uncertainty surrounds the policy of Mr Turner, the present eader ef the Opposition. He expresses the opinion that the new Government should let the Tariff Board complete its labors, and if possible adopt its recommendations. A difficulty, however, presents itself that three members of the Board were defeated. There is e likelihood of las Kon R. Richardson, ere of the defeated Ministers, besoming obairmnn of the Railway Com m.stioners. Mr Bent's defeat makes it almost ear • lain Sir Graham Berry will be the new Speaker. It is understood that Sir James Patter sou will resign when the routine business is elsored off.
