Tuberculosis at WoodvilleMangahao.

At the request of Mr C. Ebbeit. Mr Harvey, stock inspector, of Wood rills, visited the Woodvtlle Manganso. yesterday, to inspect t»u cows which Mr Ebbetft believed to be diseased. The Inspector pronounced them to be suffering from tuberculosis, er cancer of the throat, and ordered them to be destroyed. On examining the cows after slaughtering them Mr Harvey found a tumour on each side of the throat, at the root of the tongue, which must have been gradually increasing in size. Both these cows w«re. r# doubt, afccted by a sow brought into the district some time ago. suffering from the same complaint.
