The Black Band.
Bkcshf.lls, August 5. The trial ol the 18 prisoners of the body knorvn as the “ black band,” who were charged with inusdering a number of railway passengers within the last 18 months, was couolnded yesterday. Throe of the gang were sentenced to death and the remainder to terms of imprisonment varying from 2 to 20 years.
