Messrs Hawkins and Oudaillo report:— We held a very successful Bale at our yards on Tuesday, notwithstanding tho very incloment weather which prevented a large number of stock from coming lo hand. Stock of all conditions maintained their prices, especially bo in weaners and good conditioned dairy heifers. The latter showed a considerable improvement in pricea on last sale. Wo quote : Sheop ; Lambs up to 6s Id ; store wethers, which we placed privately ut 10s 6d ; Lincoln ewes, two-tooth in lamb, 7s 6d ; Cattle— We&aoru up to 80s; 2j-y®ni' old steers, good class up to £3 15 ; dairy cows, from £5 to £5 10. We have enquiries for young cattle and dairy heifers.
