A Terrible Passage. Auckland, This day. Tho barque Examiner wa« towed into Bussell yesterday, having unstained eon side ra hie damage in tha gales. She left Kaipara on .Tuna 28th for Melbourne. The following day a gale sprang up and from that out she had a succession of heavy galea. Several sails were blown away and the vessel was leaking A mountainous sea was running on the 18th July. On sounding, it was found there was Itf of water in tho bold ; all hands Were pumping. A fearful g»lo raged the 20th when the vessel, was buried it) the trough of the sea. All hands took to the rigging and tho crew thought the vessel was doomed. The decks were swept continuously, everything movable going overboard. The crew arc very exhausted.
