Pahiatua Rifle Club.
Although the weather was rather unfavorable for shooting yesterday a fair number of competitors turned up to take part in the day s shotting, and some very good scores were made. In A class, J. Miller and G. Hyde tied for lirst honours with the very creditable score of 87, Mr Miller having made the highest score at the longest range takes the trophy. In B class, W. Rowse topped the list with 75 to his credit.
In C class, first honours were won by W. Wakeman with the score of 61.
In the competition for the President's cup, Mr Miller secured a very good lead for the aggregate with his score of 87. Following are the scores :
