(Per Press Association.) Labor Parliament. Wellington, This day. The Trades and LabourCouncil have resolved that tho Labour Parliament be held in Wellington in April of next year, such Parliament to consist of representatives from the various trades unions and labour organisations in the Colony. The objects of the Parliament to he the consideration (1) of matters affecting labour generally; (2) of local government ; (8) to formulate a platform for next general election, each body to have one representative for ! every fifty nu mbers or fraction of fifty, ; each trades Council to be represented | by its president and secretary, but I in to instance shall representation of any one body exceed six. It was resolved that the Postmaster General be asked to authorise the Secretary of the Council to frank all correspondence on this matter. A letter was read from the Premier, who stated that the question of old age pension* would lie taken up by Parliament n< xt session in some shape or other.
