rpHE following is the result of a i poll taken on April 4th, 1894, on a proposal to borrow £IOOO, under “The Government Loans to Local Bodies Act, 1886,” towards the cost of erecting a bridge over the Mangahao river at Sinclair's Crossing : Number of ratepayers on roll, 201 ; representing 205 votes. Number of ratepayers who voted in favor of the proposal, 112; representing 116 votes. Voted against the proposal, 1. I therefore declare the proposal carried. SAMUEL BOLTON, County Chairman.
