N'OTICE is hereby given that it ia the intention of the Pahiatua County Council, with the consent of the ratepayers interested, to raise a Loan of One Thousand Pounds (to supplement grant from Government) for the construction of an ordinary traffic bridge across tho Mangahao river at the bridge site at Sinclair’s crossing, Block VII., Mangahao, and forming approaches thereto. Cost of engineering, raising loan, and clerical expenses to be paid out of loan. Pahiatua County. PROPOSED LOAN No. 40.—KAITAWA RIDGE AND OTHER ROADS. is hereby given that it is l\ the intention of the Pahiatua County Council, with the consent of the rat payers interested, to raise a loan of Three Thousand Pounds under “ The Government Loans to Local Bodies Act, 1886, ” for tho purpose of forming and metalling tho whole of the Kaitawa Ridge Road; tho Mount Marchant Road from the end of the Kaitawa Ridge Road to road peg XXI in front of sections 2 and 88. Block 11, Puketoi; the Pukotoi Road from its junction with the Mount Marchant Road to the boundary between sections 12 and 5, Puketoi S. D., and the Pori Road—all that is within the County. Cost of engineering, raising loan, and clerical expenses to bo paid out of loan. To meet the interest and annual charges of the said loan it is proposed to strike a special rate of Fourpence Three Farthings in rhe Pound on the rateable value of the following sections:—Sections 58, 59,(10,64, 65, 66. Block XII, Makuri ; sections 6, 18, 14, 15, 16 and half of 7, Block 1, Puketoi : sections 2,8, 5,6, 12, 38, that part of section 7 within the County, and 800 acres of section 4, all in Block 11, Puketoi ; also all that portion of Nelson’s land in block V, Puketoi within tho County (adjoining section 13, Block I, Puketoi).
