Committee Meeting.

A committed meeting of the above Club wfti held last night when there were present:—Messrs R. Smith (in the chair*, A. Steward D. Knight, Dr Gault, and the secretary, Mr Devonshire. A quantity of correspondence of sn unimportant nature was read and dealt with. Mr 11. Peters wrote asking ths eoranrttee to reconsider its decision to give him £5 for non-scratcking of Master Key at the late race meeting—Considering tho circumstances the steward-* decided to enforce the fine. Mr O'Callaghau's Recount was discussed and it was resolved to offer him £8 in full satisfaction. The work wa* by Mr T. F. Hewai who valued it at £2 10s. > Mr Beaufort forwarded a plan of right- » of way to course and also for saddling paddock. A number of accounts amounting in all to £8 9s Md were passed for payment and I the meeting terminated.
