N r OTICE is hereby given that it is the intention of the Pahiatua | County Council, with the consent of | the ratepayers interested, to raise a | loan of Three Thousand Pounds under I “ The Government Loans to Local Bodies Act, 188 G," for the purpose of forming and metalling the whole of | flie Kaitawa Ridge Road ; the Mount j Mnrchanl Road from the end of the ! Kaitawa Ridg« Road to road peg XX T m front of sections 2 and 38, Block 11, Puketoi; the Puketoi Road from | its junction with the Mount Marehant i Road to tin* boundary between sections 12 and 5, Puketoi S.D., and the Pori I Road - all that is within the County. ' Lost of engineering, raising loan, and clerical expenses to be paid out of loan. To meet the interest and charges of the said loan it is proposed to strike a special rate of Fourpence Three Farthings in the Pound on the rateable value of the following sections : Sections 58, 59, 00, 01, 05, GO, Block XU, Makuri ; sections 0, 13, 14, 15, 0, and half of 7, Block l, Puketoi ; sections 2,3, 5,0, 38, that part of section 7 within th. County, and 800 acres of section 1, all in Block 11, Puketoi ; also all that portion of Nelson’s land in Block V, Puketoi within the County (adjoining section ! 13, Block 1, Puketoi).
