BETTER THAN CO-OPERATION.
Trewby Bros.’ System of Bonuses.
On and after Saturday, November 18th, 1893, EVERY PERSON BUYING FOR CASH GOODS OVER THE VALUE OF 10s WILL RECEIVE A mm§> mid in easM, equal t© mm f§R mm. On tbe amount of their purchases. This is equivalent to 1s in the l
In introducing this system to our customers, we shall be glad if they will take note of the following advantages: Customers are offered better terms than are to be obtained from any so-called co-operative associations. No one is pressed to put their money into a business, as we do not need the assistance of shareholders to bolster up our concern. Instead of compelling you to take up shares before you can receive any bonus, our system is open to all. A customer who buys goods to the value of 10s receives in proportion more advantages than would be obtained by taking shares in one of the abovementioned so-called co-operative associations, because under our system you are not forced to lend us money (before participating in bonuses) on which yon receive little more than the ordinary bank rate of interest without the same security. We give all the same advantages without their running any risk. Under our system you buy goods at lower prices than they are to be had from any house in the trade, as we buy for cash and not on bills. The advantages derived by paying cash for our goods will be apparent to all. WE are enabled thereby to buy in the best markets and at a far lower price than individuals or associations, who are obliged to give bills for their purchases. WE would again draw the attention of the public to the fact that under our system all bonuses will be paid in cash at the time the purchase is made. We shall not keep customers waiting twelve months before giving them the bonuses.
