'Hie first meeting of the new committee was held at the Commercial Hotel on Monday evening. Present Messrs Norton (Chairman). Taylor, Kuight, Gregory, Blair, and Penney. 1 lie following accounts were panned for payment:—J. M. Levin, painting and lettering ordinance notice, XI Is; \V. Spiers, repairs to trench, 15s. Correspondence read from Mr Levin, donating the amount of his account, XI Is, us a trophy to be competed for. A hearty vote of thunks was accorded Mr the Secretary to inform him of same. j Mr G. T. Avery was duly elected lion. Secretary, vice. Mr llowse. Tenders for marking were opened, and the lowest, Mr J. Johnson, 15s per week, was accepted. Messrs 1). Crewe. W. Wake man, and A. Yule, were elected honorary ro*iut>«rs m recognition of their services to the Club. Thursday, the 30th inat., was fixed oir to. the next prize nnng. First pn/e, Mr Bottomley s trophy ; second. Mr BirnieV trophy; third. Mr F. G. Moores troph\ . fourth, Mr Golderd's trophy. Range*. ‘2OO slid 300 yards, 7 shots at each, entrance 6*l. Handicap same as last match except Hughes and Miller put at scratch. It was decided to complete the range 4 700 yards and future meeting* of coi mittee were fixed for the first Monday each month.
