STOCK MAKKKT. Messrs Lowes & lorn* report a satis factory sale at their yards on Wednesday. There was a good entry of cattle, in eluding 20 dairy cows of good quality, all selling freely under the hammer. T|ie entry of sheep was small, but sold well. Calves, 26s to 40s; yearlings, fils; 2-yr-old steers. HBs to 91s : fat cows, medium quality, X‘6 fis; breeding cows, 99s fid ; dairy cows, from Jfcfi to X*B 10s. averaging .€7 2s ; fat ewes, medium. 11s fid ; mixed hoggets, 7s 10(1 to Hs (kl. A few hacks changed owners at £n to £H. ABRAHAM AND WILLIAMS’ PAUL ATUA STOCK REPORT. The fairly open weather prevailing for the last fortnight allowed farmers to bring their stock forward, and the consequence was the best filled yard we have had the pleasure of seeing for some months. Coni petition was keen throughout, especially for dairy cows and yearlings, and we sue eeeded in clearing practically everything.
