OTAGO AERO CLUB
The Otago Aero Club held a social function in the Somerset Lounge on Tuesday evening, when the prizes and trophies won during the year were presented. The president of the club (Mr A. H. Allen) occupied the chair. The greater part of the evening was taken up with dancing and cards, and during an interval the following trophies were presented by Mr I. H. Penrose, a member of the executive:—The Wigram Cup, for competition among aero clubs throughout New Zealand, was won for the second year in succession by Otago. Last year the individual winner was S. Hudson, and this year D. Campbell, who was presented with a replica of the cup. Intarflight Banner, D. Campbell, who was in charge of B Flight during “ Come to Dunedin ” Week. Bombing Competition, A. N. Jones, who was presented with a clock mounted on a propeller boss. Landing Competition Cup, R. Hudson.
