An unusual feature of the Auckland Provincial Polo Association’s tournament at Cambridge was the number of relatives who were engaged in the competitions. There were six Kays, five Ransteads, three Peakes, and two Fitzgeralds amon z the players. Four of the Kay brothers comprised the Te Awamutu A team, -while another brother and his nephew were in the B team. The Ransteads were members of the Matangi team, the Peakes played for Cambridge, and the Fitzgeralds for Waihou.
