Mr R. Leask's wonderful display of asters has been an outstanding attraction during recent weeks, being visited by large numbers of people from many part of New Zealand. There were over 20,000 blooms, including Californian Giant, Crega mixed colours, and other varieties. In colour, size, and variety the asters were perfect specimens, the majority of the plants being 2 feet in height. Our photographs show a part of Mr Leask's garden and a few of the vari-coloured blooms which he kindly sent to us.
