WIN FOR SOUTH AFRICA. LONDON, December 9. At Leeds South Africa beat Lancashire and Cheshire by 20 points to 9. Hampshire beat Kent bv 28 points to 13. OXFORD BEATS CAMBRIDGE. LONDON, December 8. Oxford won the fifty-sixth interuniversity match, beating Cambridge by 10 points to 3 points. The Cambridge backs lacked speed. Oxford’s forwards were one of the best packs for many years in loose play. The winning team included Henley and Minns, the New Zealanders. Henley, whose historic goal saved the match in 1930, failed in both attempts from two of Oxford's tries in to-day’s game.
