NINE FINAL RETURNS OUTSTANDING NO ALTERATIONS ANTICIPATED. WELLINGTON, December 12. The final election returns for the Lyttelton seat show that Mr J. M'Combs (Labour) has been elected by a majority of 32, his lead of 105 on the provisional count being substantially reduced upon 584 absentee votes being allocated. The final returns are still awaited in nine seats. These will probably be received early next week, but no alteration in the results is anticipated. RANGITIKEI. APPLICATION FOR MAGISTERIAL COUNT. MARTON, December 14. Mr J. T. Hogan (Independent) has filed an application for a magisterial count in the Rangitikei election. He was defeated by Mr A. Stuart (Coalition Reformer) by 13 votes.
