No. 2. The dwarf, who was exceptionally small, was soon outpaced by the Chums. ; “ I wonder what's in these pots anyway?” said Teddy. He sat down on a rock and began to heave at one. Finally with a great wrench he pulled off the lid, and in doing so spilt some of the contents of the pot—powder—on to the rock on which he was seated. Immediately the rock began to grow. It rose up higher and higher, and Teddy shouted louder and louder in his alarm. “ Help," he yelled. “ I've just noticed it says on the pot ‘ Magnifier ' —it makes things bigger. I shall have to stay up here for ever. Goodbye, Golly', friend of my youth. What does it say on the other tin?” Golly looked. It read “ Minnificr.” "Wonder if it makes things smaller?” he thought. After a big struggle he managed to get the lid off the pot, poured some of powder on to the rock, and—Swoosh! Down it sank to the ground again! (To be Continued.)
