WHITE AND LEONARD DRAW. SYDNEY, October 10. At the Stadium, White, fly-weight champion of Australia, drew with Leonard, of Newton, who fouled thrice, hut was treated leniently by the referee. CARNERA v. SHARKEY. NEW YORK. October 10. Camera and Sharkey have completed their training to-day in their rural retreats, which ar. a considerable distance from the city. Sharkey is still handicapped to some extent by his hand injury, but during his work-outs last week he indicated a determination to prepare himself as best he could for the contest, in which, he said, “ I expect to put an end to all my disappointments.” Camera has not been impressive in his training, and despite GOib advantage he will probably have the betting odds against him when he enters the ring. The new president of the New Zealand Boxing Association is Air Janies Garcia. He has been elected president of the Taranaki Association, and as the New Zealand conference will be held at New Plymouth Mr Garcia automatically becomes president of the New Zealand body.

MDOUGALL DEFEATS LUNDYN. HASTINGS, October 9. Scotty Al'Dougall defeated Alex. Lundyn in a professional wrestling contest at Hastings to-night. The former had almost a stone advantage in weight and at no time was there any doubt as to the decision. He secured falls in the fourth and fifth rounds, both with body slams. The contest was marked by frequent displays of temper on the part of both wrestlers, particularly Lundyn.
