When a man is bitten by a dog. and his trousers are torn, is he entitled to a new pair or should he lie satisfied with a patch? This was a point raised in the Magistrate’s Court in Christchurch and Mr E. D. Mosley, S.M., decided that the man should have a new pair of trousers. “ T think that the Sanders Cup contest will eventually die out,” said Mr F. Friedman at the annual meeting of the Canterbury Sailing and Power Boat Association the other evening. “ Present conditions anil the type of boat in use are all against the success of (he contest.”
