The postponement of the date of the annual meeting of the National Rifle Association was decided upon at a meeting of the association executive in Wellington on Wednesday last. It was originally intended to commence the meeting on March 4, but the earthquake and the general disorganisation at Trentham as a result has necessitated a postponement. No date has yet been fixed, but it is probable that the meeting will take place at the end of March or early in April.
