An English public schoolboy, who came to Taranaki under the Taranaki Chamber of Commerce scheme four years ago, and who is now visiting England, in the course of a letter states that lie has no intention of staying in England as things are very bad there (says the Herald). He blames the “ dole,” saying that while people could get 18s a week for doing nothing they would not work.
