Two glasshouses on Mr William Cron s property, Thames Highway, Oamaru, were wrecked last week in a stiff nor-wester. The damage is in the vicinity of £600, and in addition 3000 tomato plants planted out and growing will have to be transplanted in the open, with consequent cost of labour and loss incurred through early market.
