To provide annual prizes for pupils pro ; ficient in sculptural knowledge, £lOO had been left to the Cashmere School by the late Mr J. C. Prudhoe. This was announced at a recent meeting of the School Committee by the chairman, Mr W; Scarff, who spoke in terms of sincere appreciation of the excellent work done for the school by Mr Prudhoe.
