AERO CLUBS.

CONFERENCE TO BE HELD. WELLINGTON, January 21. A suggestion that the aero clubs of the Dominion should combine to hold i conference to discuss matters of mutual interest has been made, and it is likely that the representatives of the clubs will meet in Wellington late in February. This idea, it is understood, emanated from Otago, and a majority at least of the bodies concerned have thought the proposal a good one, and suggested that Wellington should be the meeting place. Some of the matters to be discussed arc: Aeroplane insurance. Government subsidies. pageants, club finance, and cooperation. Several clubs which have been sending their machines to the pageants of other clubs have found that the practice is expensive, and an agreement among those assembled on this point may be looked for.
