The contingent of Flock House boys who arrived by the Rangitata were described as a fine draft by Mr N. Blackmore, of Palmerston North, who returned to the Dominion on the same vessel (says the Manawatu Evening Standard). He stated that Lieutenant M'Vicar, of Southland, gave them physical drill instruction on board, and in three weeks some of the boys made a remarkable advance in their physical welfare.
