Two charges of forgery and uttering, nvolving amounts totalling £l6 10s, and eight charges of false pretences, involving amounts totalling £62 6s, were admitted in the Magistrate’s Court at Wellington on Wednesday by Harold George William Steverson, a mechanic, aged 38. He was committed to the Supreme Court for sentence.
