That Stewart Island as a tourist resort is increasing in popularity is evident from the traffic figures for January supplied to the Bluff Harbour Board at its monthly meeting last week (says the Southland Times). Dues on traffic handled by the tug amounted to £953 I9s as compared with £836 3s lid for the corresponding month of last year.
