THE SAILING SHIP WELLINGTON.

TO THE EDITOR. Sir. —Wil 1 you allow me the us- of your columns to remind some of the Old Settlers who came out in the Wellington, which left the Tail of the Bank on November 28, 1878, that it is 50 years this month since we landed at Port Chalmers. I think, it was about the 15th, but I am not sure of the date. I have thought if a reunion could not be arranged—that some one of our shipmates might undertake to receive reports from passengers by that vessel, or members of their families, giving a short account of their experiences, or simply stating where they or any of their shipmates are living. Should this suggestion meet with approval I am willing to receive communications. —I am, etc.,

James Robson.
